Raggedy Ann was created out of love ninety-five years ago by cartoonist and illustrator John Gruelle for his daughter. Since that time the public has had a continuing love affair and fascination with this red headed sweetheart. APPLAUSE is pleased to introduce a collection of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. Fans and collectors of this brother and sister duo will find everything they need to put a litte love in their hearts or give to someone special. The 2010 Holiday Ann features her wearing a red dress with red, green and white candy cane colored stripes. A candy cane is stitched onto the front of her dress. Ann is wearing bloomers, has the classic button eyes and the traditional heart under her dress which says "I LOVE YOU" inside the heart. Raggedy Andy too has black button eyes and identical embroidered heart. He matches Ann with his green and white striped shirt, green pants with embroidered holly on his left pant leg and the green and white sailors cap. Their striped legs, green feet and red yarn hair make them the perfect holiday pair a classic for years to come.
